The Metro Stores

Metro Colon

Metro Colon

Metro Colon, the first Metro store, started as a three-level store building in Colon Street in the heart of downtown Cebu City. Despite being located in the toughest retail arena in the Cebu province, if not in the entire nation, the Metro developed a huge following among the Cebuano consumers and was upgraded into a seven-level department store and supermarket after only two years in operation. The Metro Colon store has continuously been upgraded over the years to increase the size of its selling areas, maintain customer comforts and amenities, and to enhance its fresh and friendly atmosphere. At present, the store continues and remains to be the preferred shopping destination in downtown Cebu.

The store’s spacious and spartan look enhances its feel of a store with a wide selection of quality goods sold at reasonable prices.
